Soldering is a joining process where two or more metal items are bonded together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint. The filler metal has a lower melting point than the base metals, which remain solid during the process.
What are the steps involved in casting? Explain them in short.

- Pattern making: Creating a replica of the object to be cast.
- Molding: Preparing the sand mold using the pattern.
- Melting and Pouring: Melting the metal and pouring it into the mold cavity.
