JNTU B.Tech III CONTROL SYSTEMS Previous Question Paper (May/June - 2019 - R13)
Note: This question paper contains two parts A and B. Part A is compulsory which carries 25 marks. Answer all questions in Part A. Part B consists of 5 Units. Answer any one full question from each unit. Each question carries 10 marks.
Part A
Answer
Positive feedback generally tends to decrease the stability of a system. It can lead to oscillations or even instability if the feedback gain is too high.
Answer
The Transfer Function of a system is defined as the ratio of the Laplace transform of the output to the Laplace transform of the input, assuming all initial conditions are zero.
Limitations of Transfer Function:
- It is applicable only to Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems.
- It does not account for initial conditions.
- It does not provide information about the internal states or structure of the system.
- It assumes that the system is causal and can be represented by a rational function.
