JNTU B.Tech IV BIOMEDICAL INSTRUMENTATION Previous Question Paper (December - 2019 - R16)
Note: This question paper contains two parts A and B. Part A is compulsory which carries 25 marks. Answer all questions in Part A. Part B consists of 5 Units. Answer any one full question from each unit. Each question carries 10 marks and may have a, b as sub questions.
Part A
What is meant by Dynamic Error?
Answer
Dynamic error is the difference between the true value of the measured quantity and the value indicated by the measurement system when the quantity is changing with time. It occurs because the instrument cannot respond instantaneously to rapid changes in the input signal.
Define sensitivity of measurement.
Answer
Sensitivity is defined as the ratio of the change in the output signal of an instrument to the corresponding change in the input signal being measured. It represents the slope of the calibration curve, expressed as S = ΔOutput / ΔInput.
