Part A is compulsory. Answer any one question from each unit in Part B.
Part A
Write the percentage of elements in decreasing order of crust and atmosphere.
Answer
The Earth's crust is composed primarily of Oxygen (46.6%), Silicon (27.7%), Aluminum (8.1%), Iron (5.0%), Calcium (3.6%), Sodium (2.8%), Potassium (2.6%), and Magnesium (2.1%). The atmosphere is composed of Nitrogen (78.08%), Oxygen (20.95%), Argon (0.93%), and Carbon Dioxide (0.04%).
Explain the parabolic Dunes and Barchans.
Answer
Barchans are crescent-shaped dunes with tips pointing downwind, formed in areas with limited sand supply and unidirectional winds.
