Self-exploration is the process of finding out what is valuable to me by investigating within myself. The mechanism of self-exploration involves two distinct steps:

• Verification at the level of Natural Acceptance: This involves checking whether a proposal is naturally acceptable to me. Natural acceptance is invariant, universal, and independent of time, space, or individual beliefs. If a proposal resonates with my innate sense of right and wrong, it is considered naturally acceptable.
• Experiential Validation: This involves living according to the proposal in real-life situations. By applying the proposal in daily behavior and work, one observes the outcome. If the result leads to mutual happiness and prosperity, the proposal is validated as true.

This mechanism is not a set of dogmas but a continuous process of dialogue between what I am and what I really want to be, ensuring that one's understanding is based on personal realization rather than external imposition.

Value education is the process of developing the ability to discriminate between the essential and the non-essential, and between the transient and the permanent, to lead a life of harmony. It is the study of human values, which are the foundational principles that guide human conduct and decision-making.

The process of value education involves:

• Self-reflection: Critically examining one's own desires, thoughts, and expectations.
• Understanding Harmony: Recognizing the interconnectedness at four levels: the individual, the family, the society, and nature/existence.
• Application: Translating these understandings into consistent, ethical behavior in daily life.

In today’s scenario, value education is vital because modern society faces crises of identity, environmental degradation, and social fragmentation. It is important because it provides a holistic perspective that shifts the focus from purely materialistic pursuits to sustainable, meaningful living. By fostering clarity, self-regulation, and empathy, it helps individuals resolve internal conflicts and build harmonious relationships, ultimately contributing to a more stable and peaceful society.
