Illustrate in detail about the basic requirements for fulfillment of aspirations of every human being with their correct priority.
Answer
The basic requirements for the fulfillment of human aspirations are categorized into two primary domains: physical facilities and right understanding. To lead a fulfilling life, these requirements must be addressed in a specific order of priority.
The fundamental requirements are:
- Right Understanding (Samadhan): This is the primary requirement. It involves understanding the harmony at all levels of existence—from the individual to the family, society, and nature. Without right understanding, human beings remain in a state of confusion or contradiction, leading to unhappiness regardless of material wealth.
- Relationship (Sambandh): Once right understanding is achieved, the individual can recognize and fulfill their relationships with other human beings. This leads to mutual happiness, which is a core human aspiration.
- Physical Facilities (Suvidha): These include the material things needed for bodily sustenance, such as food, clothing, and shelter. While essential, physical facilities are limited in quantity and are only needed to nurture and protect the body.
The correct priority is Right Understanding > Relationship > Physical Facilities. Most modern problems arise because humans prioritize physical facilities above all else, assuming they will automatically lead to happiness. However, physical facilities only provide temporary comfort to the body; they cannot ensure continuous happiness or prosperity. Prosperity is defined as the feeling of having more than the required physical facilities, which can only be realized when there is right understanding of one's needs and a sense of responsibility toward relationships and nature.
Explain the content and the process for value education.
Answer
Value education is the process of self-exploration that enables an individual to understand their purpose, relationship with others, and harmony with nature. The content of value education encompasses the entire existence, categorized into four levels: individual, family, society, and nature/existence. It aims to achieve harmony at all these levels, starting from self-exploration.
The process of value education is based on two main mechanisms:
- Natural Acceptance: This is the mechanism of verifying proposals against one's own innate sense of right and wrong. It is invariant, universal, and independent of time, space, or individual belief systems.
- Experiential Validation: This involves living according to the accepted values in real-life situations. If the outcome leads to mutual happiness and prosperity, the proposal is validated as a truth.
The process is essentially a dialogue between 'what I am' and 'what I really want to be,' leading to self-evolution and the development of right understanding.
