Biometrics refers to the automated recognition of individuals based on their unique biological or behavioral characteristics. It utilizes measurable physical traits, such as fingerprints, iris patterns, or facial features, and behavioral traits, such as gait or voice, to verify or identify a person's identity with high accuracy.
What is Devanagari character?
Answer
A Devanagari character refers to the individual symbols used in the Devanagari script, which is an abugida writing system primarily used for languages such as Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi, and Nepali. These characters are composed of consonants, which inherently carry an inherent vowel sound, and vowel signs (matras) that modify the sound when attached to consonants. The script is characterized by a horizontal line running along the top of the letters, known as the shirorekha, which connects the characters to form a word.
