JNTU B.Tech II NETWORK ANALYSIS Previous Question Paper (May/June - 2019 - R16)
Note: This question paper contains two parts A and B. Part A is compulsory which carries 25 marks. Answer all questions in Part A. Part B consists of 5 Units. Answer any one full question from each unit. Each question carries 10 marks and may have a, b, c as sub questions.
Part A
Define cutset matrix.
Answer
A cutset matrix is a matrix that relates the branches of a network to the cutsets of the graph. It provides a systematic way to represent the topology of a network by identifying which branches belong to a specific cutset. In the matrix, rows represent the fundamental cutsets and columns represent the branches of the network, with entries typically being 1, -1, or 0 depending on the orientation of the branch relative to the cutset.
Two coupled coils of L1=0.8H and L2=0.2H have a coupling coefficient K=0.9. Find the mutual inductance?
Answer
The mutual inductance M between two coupled coils is given by the formula:
