Graphics and image data types are primarily categorized into two formats:

• Raster Graphics (Bitmaps): These are composed of a grid of individual pixels, where each pixel holds specific color information. They are resolution-dependent, meaning they lose quality when scaled up. Common formats include JPEG, PNG, and GIF.
• Vector Graphics: These are defined by mathematical equations representing paths, lines, shapes, and curves rather than pixels. They are resolution-independent and can be scaled infinitely without loss of quality. Common formats include SVG, AI, and EPS.

Multimedia offers significant benefits in communication and learning, but also presents technical and practical challenges.

Advantages:

Disadvantages:

• Complexity of Creation: Developing high-quality multimedia requires specialized skills, expensive software, and considerable time for production.
• Compatibility Issues: Different platforms, browsers, and devices may not support all multimedia formats, leading to playback problems.
• Distraction Potential: Excessive or poorly designed multimedia elements can distract the user from the core message or content.
